Founded in 2005, Karboxx has quickly made a name for itself in the field of designer lighting products. Technology and elegance are
the standout features of Karboxx design. An extremely modern material, technologically advanced, light and physically very resistant, as the carbon fibre,
in conjunction with a minimal refined and polished design, impress to the Karboxx trademark an immediate identity.
With an eye towards evolving lifestyles, Karboxx has taken on the current yet unknown subject of well-being through colour-therapy lighting, and has included
the most advanced solutions in this fascinating area in its range of products. This strategy turns up in the identification of settings, zones, corners or anything else that
makes it possible to perceive in the best way possible the lighting project that Karboxx has adopted and that it offers to final users through its retail partners.
Karboxx offers a personalized arrangement where colours, music, and fragrances (involvement of multiple senses) combine with the sensations generated by a
product which is of its own right exclusive and fascinating. The warm emotion of the distinctive sign that combines with the cold sobriety of carbon fibre for a blend that is
energetic, energizing and sensual, and that leads to the discovery of pleasant sensations of touch…that’s the magic of a reassuring sign, simply and naturally
elegant…that’s the sobriety, the purity the concreteness of the high technology of carbon fibre.

Vicente García Jimenez
Vicente was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1978. He graduated at the Faculty of Experimental Sciences in Castellon de la Plana. Later he moved to Barcelona where
he worked at Santa & Cole. There he developed lighting and interior furniture designs. At this time he developed an interest with the environmental aspect
of designing these items, constructing his first prototypes in this field. During this time he also got interested in other environmental aspects such as light
and shadows, a variety of materials, textures and colors. While in Barcelona he was involved in a small filming project which was directed by Jose Luis Montesinos.
A strong need to discover and develop his craft brought him to Milan where he met the work of Enrico Franzolini. There, he was given the responsibility to design
a collection of lighting material for Karboxx. At this time, he is searching for a way to design items through basic materials, using much imagination and inner
resources while creating a complicated effect. In other words, what seems complicated is actually simple, using for example light and shadows to create this atmosphere.
Presently, Vincent lives in Udine (Italy) and works with Foscarini, Palluco Italia and Karboxx, he also collaborates with Enrico Franzolini in the same field.
